here we go!!!
Here's Mia in the latest photos sent to us by Lianyungang Social Welfare Institute. At almost 10 months old, among other things, she sits up on her own, can stand with someone supporting her, walks in a baby walker and even eats biscuits! Under the section on language development, they told us she babbles. I wonder what she'll be trying to tell us?
After less than one week's notice, we are just about packed and ready to bring our beautiful girl home. We'll be leaving on Thursday 6/1, and after spending a day or so in Beijing, we'll be flying to Nanjing on 6/4 and meet Mia for the first time on 6/5, her 10 month birthday.
At the moment, we are in a packing haze. But we'll try and post as often as we can. Thank you all for your love, unending support, caring, curiosity, and excitement at seeing our first pictures! And especially thanks Mom and Dad for your constant kindnesses, enduring love and sharing our joy.
